No Sugar? how are they sweetened?

We don't add ANY sugar to our products. Instead we use monkfruit. Our monkfruit is Keto, Paleo, Diabetic friendly, Vegan, Low Carb, Non-GMO and all natural!

What is monkfruit?

Monkfruit, or lo han guo, is a small green melon native to southern China and named after the monks who first cultivated it centuries ago. Monkfruit is not sweet due to natural sugars like most fruits. It contains powerful antioxidants called mogrosides, which are metabolized differently by the body than natural sugars. That’s why, despite their very sweet taste, these fruits contain no calories and have no effect on blood sugar.

High&Miri coconut roasted nuts are dairy-free, sodium-free, vegan, naturally gluten-free, diabetic-friendly and low carb.

Are these truly diabetic friendly?

We have many customers who are diabetic and rely on High&Miri for a delicious and safe snack. The only sugar in our product is naturally occurring in the nuts themselves. While we have many diabetic customers who enjoy our nuts, since sensitivities vary we recommend speaking to your Doctor and monitoring your levels the first time you enjoy our products. 

Are there any allergens at your facility?

We take measures to keep our almonds and cashews separate however out of caution we like our customers to know that cross-contamination between the almonds and cashews is possible. If you are allergic to either almonds or cashews please take this possibility into consideration before purchasing our products.
